BE A VOTER, A GOOD ONE
I, Jenny M. Baldeo, conducted an interview regarding the issues and problems in the country.
The person I've interviewed.
: Good morning ma'am. For you, what is the biggest problem in our society?
; Sa tingin ko, 'yong corruption.
: Okay ma'am, thank you po.
Our country has lots of problems that are still unsolved until now, corruption is one of these. People often says that vote for the right person, vote for the person who can fullfil the duties and also the responsibilities of the position/ stand in the country. People often says don't be fool to their flowering words and specially, don't mind the money they'll give. Because the amount of money you'll gonna receive from them is much more lesser than the amount you'll received when you voted the deserving and the right one. The right public servant will do the right things and will give what you must received. Voting the right person won't just change your life, but will change the life of every citizen of the Philippines. Our country needs the right one, the right person. A person who wants to be a public servant, from the term itself, to become a servant of the country and not because of the money. A person who loves to serve for the citizens and to our beloved Philippines. A person who is strong enough to face all of the present and future problems. A person who's not just smart but also have wide thinking capability to think of the solutions and the posible effects of it. A person who have a good heart for each of the individual, a person who will help people fairly and wholeheartedly. A person who have the creative mind to use our money, the money of our country according to where it is most needed. A person who will bring the country to success and to a better one, like what all the citizens dreaming for their country to be. A person who love The Creator not just on words but also in actions. The country needs the right person, a person who will stand for the individuals who don't have says, individuals who are asking for voice, who are asking everyone to listen, to listen to their side. Our country needs a good person, a right person rather. By voting the right person, corruption will be eliminated to the departments of our country.
Voting is the most efficient action to avoid corruption, it is also one of the rights of a human being. Voting is the process of choosing candidate/s in every election. In voting, every registered voter is given a chance to vote for a person that they think is the right one. But the thing is, there are people who are not registered as voters, they can't vote. Some don't want to register their names because they have their work and thinking that it will take a couple of time. But some really chose it, they are thinking that it was just a waste of time. Knowing that some candidates are doing the so called "vote buying". The candidates are buying the votes of people so that the posibility of winning will increase.
A good citizen of the Philippine country, won't mind the money and will vote the right one. Voting is an oppurtunity to make our country better. Take the oppurtunity and don't waste it. Use it as a weapon to change the world and don't let anyone to use it as a weapon to any bad purpose. Come, think of your love ones, do you want your country to be led by a corrupt official? Knowing that your family will be affected? Of course you don't want, right? Yes your vote is just one, but that one vote could be the reason to change the life of every individual, of every family. So, think of it, be a voter, a good one.
